COMPLEX AND POLYTRAUMA

PhysioFunction offers bespoke rehabilitation for individuals following complex injuries and polytrauma. Polytrauma is a medical term describing the condition of a person who has been subjected to multiple traumatic injuries such as multiple fractures following a car or work place accident.

We treat post-operative patients that present with deteriorating mobility and movement due to failed or complicated surgical procedures or those individuals that have not have sufficient or appropriate post operative rehabilitation. It is our experience that these patients present with poor patterns of movement, muscle weakness and reduced ability to carry out their day to day activities.
